Returns & Refunds

How returns work on equipment and parts purchased from IronFoundry Marketplace.

All sales are final

Machines, attachments, and parts are sold as-is, where-is, with all faults. Because every unit is used, one-of-a-kind, and priced on its individual condition, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for buyer's remorse, change of plans, financing difficulties, or a change in your project requirements after purchase.

Inspect before you buy

Because sales are final, we put real effort into letting you evaluate a machine before you commit. Every listing carries photos, hours, and the condition details we have. Many include a full inspection report on the listing page. You are welcome — and encouraged — to inspect any unit in person before purchase, or to arrange a third-party inspection at your own expense. If you want additional photos, video, a walkaround, or specific measurements, ask us before you buy and we will get them for you.

If a unit is not as described

“As-is” covers wear, age, and the ordinary condition of used equipment. It does not cover a material misrepresentation on our part. If a machine or part arrives and a substantive specification we published is wrong — the wrong model or year, a materially different hour meter reading, or a component we described as functional that is not — contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and we will work with you in good faith to make it right. Depending on the situation that may mean a repair contribution, a partial adjustment, or unwinding the sale.

Freight and transit damage

Title and risk of loss pass on pickup or on loading for delivery. Inspect the unit on arrival and note any transit damage on the bill of lading beforesigning for it — an unnoted delivery signature ends the carrier's liability. Tell us right away and we will help you pursue the freight claim with the carrier.

Warranty

Unless a written warranty is stated on your invoice, equipment and parts are sold without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Any remaining manufacturer warranty transfers only where the manufacturer permits it.
